| Mission Statement |
West Tatnuck School seeks to develop the whole child and inspire
a true love for learning. We believe that all children can and will
learn, and the school encourages students to become lifelong learners,
enabling them to achieve success in their academic pursuits now and
in the future. We take pride in offering a curriculum which emphasizes
student achievement and fosters individual responsibility and
accountability for one's behavior.
Although educational activities may vary due to a constantly changing
society and environment, West Tatnuck School's commitment to excellence
will not waver. Efforts will be directed toward developing within each
student a positive attitude, allowing him/her to meet educational
challenges in a safe and pleasant environment. Each student will possess
the necessary abilities and tools to become a self-sufficient member
of society in the 21st century.
