| Mission Statement |
|
We, the parents and staff of Tatnuck Magnet School, believe that
all children can learn and succeed, when provided with the appropriate
resources, support, and encouragement.

| Vision Statement |
Tatnuck Magnet School is dedicated to provide a safe and challenging
environment in which all students can learn. Our curriculum emphasizes
hands-on active learning, flexible grouping, technology, learning centers
and a balanced literacy program. Children are encouraged to communicate
effectively in order to function productively in society.
We believe in an inclusive setting in which different learning styles are
recognized and respected. Independent thinking, teamwork, mutual respect
and empathy for all is encouraged. We strive to involve parents, recognizing
their participation is a key to educating children.
Continuing education provides our faculty with opportunities to be learners as
well as teachers. The spirit of cooperation which we wish to instill in our
students is modeled by our faculty.
