Lake View School is committed to academic excellence for all children.
As a school community, we believe that all children can and will learn,
given the opportunities available in a stimulating, safe, and nurturing
learning environment. Through collaboration with teachers, parents, and
community members, we understand that together our mission is to assist
our children in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to become
productive and contributing members of society.
During a time when restructuring and change are critical components in
meeting the challenges of our students, the Lake View Community is prepared to:
Move forward in an effort to attain the goals necessary to improve classroom instruction and
increase student achievement
Strive for academic excellence through curriculum initiatives that are in alignment with the
core subjects
Utilize an interdisciplinary approach in order to promote higher levels of teaching and learning
Implement state of the art technology equipment that will enable us to develop high
levels of technological proficiency
Implement successful, instructional strategies into teaching practices in an effort to
promote a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to effective teaching and learning
Recognize values and celebrate diversity through the integration of multiculturalism in the curriculum
Utilize talents and contributions of parents and community in order to provide educational
opportunities for all students
