| Mission Statement |
As a school community, we challenge all of our students
to strive for academic excellence. We believe that all
children can learn and achieve at their highest potential
and become productive citizens in our changing world. We
provide each student with an equal educational opportunity
in a safe and healthy environment.
We ask the entire community to collaborate with us in serving
our young people as effectively as possible in a climate of
reflection and life long learning. We set high standards for
student achievement and work as a community to ensure student
success. We believe that by raising student achievement and
stimulating intellectual curiosity, students will be prepared
to meet the demands that they face in accountability with the
statewide competency test.

| Vision Statement |
At the Goddard School of Science and Technology we are creating
a community of inquiry and practice where students, parents,
teachers and university faculty will all have a sense of belonging,
investment, pride and ownership. We will emphasize the development
of social skills to foster an attitude of caring so that children
and teachers at the school can do their best, work together, and
establish a commitment to learning. A commitment to learning means
a commitment to trying, to inquiring, to exploring and to risking.
It means providing opportunities to discover and test new ideas, and
opportunities to grow in understanding and capability.
We believe that all children can excel and achieve success in school,
and that learning has no beginning and no end. We will set high
expectations, establish clear standards of behavior based on mutual
respect and require parent support and involvement so that each child
at the Goddard School will develop to his or her full potential.
