| Our program follows a nationally recognized format which begins with the basics. Adults ages 21 & up are placed into separate small groups according to ability (never on ice, can skate a little but never had formal lessons, previous lessons) and progress from level to level at their own pace. Skaters will receive 25 minutes of instruction and 25 minutes of practice time. One week prior to the first lesson on Wednesday in Westboro there is a MANDATORY meeting from 6:00 - 6:50 pm regarding proper skate purchasing, fitting and lacing, off ice stretching recommendations and general question and answer session. All skates must be approved by the skating Director prior to the first night of lessons.
Rental Figure Skates are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Figure skates preferred to hockey skates. Wear warm, comfortable clothing to participate and don't forget gloves!!! |
