SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM
On July 7th Massachusetts State Representative Jim McGovern visited four cities, including Worcester, to bring awareness to the Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Food Service Program is a federally funded program, under the United States Department of Agriculture, that provides low income children under 18 with free nutritious meals during the summer. Worcester Child Development Head Start is still accepting applications for this upcoming fall for children born in 2010-2011.There are still part days and full days available but transportation is no longer available at this time.
